Marcus O’Brien


Marcus is a recent graduate of The University of Portsmouth, attaining a First Class Honours Degree in Computer Network Management & Design. During his year in industry he worked for 9ine Consulting on projects including Longfield Academy £26m capital build and large scale mobile device deployment.

For nine months of his placement he was instated as the Network Manager role at the Ofsted Outstanding Milestone Academy where he gained great experience in supporting a wide range of technologies for special needs education.

After graduating, Marcus was asked to join 9ine permanently. Since joining in June, he has already been involved in a large scale iPad recall and subsequent deployment at the Stephen Perse Foundation in Cambridge and is leading on a number of technical developments for mobile learning projects.

Marcus’ specialist skills lie in MDM (Mobile Device Management), having experience in setting up MDM systems for multiple schools and trained users on the features of them.
